In December 2009, London-based knitwear designer Mark Fast and his team paid a visit to Toronto in order to strengthen their Canadian relationships and increase brand awareness.
Knot PR developed and executed a media relations strategy which included targeted bookings with print, broadcast and online media and a sponsored media and tastemaker cocktail that same evening to fully leverage team Fast’s Toronto visit.

Results
The results speak for themselves: over 30 print and online hits immediately following the media tour, including a full page spread in the Globe and Mail, the cover of the Toronto Star Living Section, a broadcast news mention, a video on Fashion Magazine online and a Fashion Television segment.
Plutino Group partnered with Mark Fast and Knot PR to host media during the day and showcase the designs on models. Knot PR negotiated sponsorship for the cocktail with Mercer street hot spotĀ Ame (INK entertainment) and Bacardi.
